Feeling grateful for a lovely mini retreat today with the hubby! Loved the sauna, cold refreshing pool, and hiking areas. Alexis was an amazing and thoughtful host. Can’t wait to come back!

Really wonderful place to escape from the stress of city life and have a bit of time to yourself 💖 Love the wooden sauna and yoga space by the pool! Alexis has such a lovely energy and facilitates a truly relaxing experience

Sanctuary Retreat is a very special place. From the quiet street entrance, you would never even know it was there! But down a few steps, there is a tranquil garden with beautiful trees and flowers, and a clean, cosy indoor space for relaxing, refreshments and all the necessary facilities. Then, there is the lower level of the garden - a beautiful, private area looking out onto a forested valley. I feel like I could forget I was anywhere near a city as I enjoy the sauna and massage spaces. It really calmed my nervous system and had me leaving with a smile on my face 🙂 Highly recommended for a wilderness break without even leaving Sydney!

Such an amazing property it really feels like you’re in the bush and away from the hustle bustle of the city. Alexis is an incredible host and shares so much of her wisdom and beautiful grounding energy. Sauna pool and ice bath are top notch - highly recommend this place to anyone needing a little time out and reset.

I had a strong nudge to go to Alexis’s event and I’m so very grateful that I did. She very capably and lovingly led us through breathwork and kundalini yoga poses. The work we did was so simple yet powerful. When I tuned into my body afterwards, I felt a palpable shift in how I felt (my chakras felt clearer and therefore this cleared up my digestive system which I was having an issue with on the day).
Alexis’s humility despite having worked with great teachers was beautiful. She welcomed everyone with an open heart too.
The space itself is cosy and has everything you might need to run a self contained event.

Such a beautiful experience spending a day the the sanctuary. Beautiful location. Felt so nice being in the space. Everyone was so supportive and great time really connecting. First time having an ice bath, loved it. I recommend giving it a try and definitely will be back. Lovely to meet Alexi and her family.

I just spent the most beautiful day at The Sanctuary Retreat, Alexis was so kind and accommodating, i did sound healing, ice bath, sauna, meditation and connected with lots of beautiful people, the energy of the place is magical i highly recommend checking it out, i also had a massage which was just divine, thank you thank you thank you 🙏🙏🙏

I booked 2 nights at The Sanctuary after feeling like life was getting on top of me and I had nowhere to turn. I was seeking peace and clarity about who I am and where I want to go.
I met Alexis and we connected so well! She guided me through my emotions and supported me with everything. She introduced me to new techniques and outlooks that changed the way I think forever. She also had a little treat bag for me ready that had some beautiful journals and resources.
The retreat itself is a beautiful quaint place that has everything you could ever need. The resources are so lovely and the garden is the perfect place to read and relax. I also got an Uber to the boathouse (10 minutes away) and hired a Kayak for just $30. I would highly recommend doing this! The scenery was beautiful and it was so peaceful kayaking along the river.
I would recommend the sanctuary to everyone and will definitely return. A massive thank you to Alexis who I still keep in contact with🩷

The Sanctuary Women's Retreat was a lovely, relaxing experience with a nurturing spirit. I felt my mind free and emotions released. The ice bath was incredible and invigorating. The beautiful vegan food added to the enjoyment of the weekend with lovely people, managed with love and spirit. The beautiful environment, powerful meditations with Alexis, and the delightful sauna and massage session were exceptional highlights. Highly recommended for self-discovery and rejuvenation. We have just returned from a fabulous weekend at the Sanctuary, from the moment we arrived Alexis, our wonderful host, had us breathing deep and meditating to get us in the zone, once we stepped in our cosy comfy accommodation we felt instantly relaxed and at peace surrounded by the serenity of natural bushland..The hot saunas were plentiful and the area boasts wonderful eating places down by the river..I fully recommend this quaint little retreat if u need a quick regeneration for your mind body and soul...

I highly rate this retreat. Being in nature and having access to healing programs is next level. Alexis has a wonderful peaceful presence around her which is contagious in the best way. I really have enjoyed my time here and I’m leaving this trip a new person. I highly recommend the wellness retreat, the rebirth massage and a counselling session for anyone seeking inner healing. There’s lots to do to keep you present and search within. The sanctuary is private and I felt I had lots of space to myself. Thank you Alexis

Alexis is a soulful woman keen to her share her time, expertise and profound knowledge of mind, body, spirit and heart alignment. Every section of the 2- day retreat was well thought out and overlaid perfectly to create intense transformational shifts. The venue, vegan meals, surroundings, the Sanctuary Australia team, activities, weather and variety of modalities all came together to create the magical weekend. They also give you a BONUS virtual access on Sanctuary TV, which has helped transform my life!!
